Hi! My name is Mark and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I have always loved to cook from a young age watching my parents and grandparents in the kitchen. My love of cooking led me from making pizzas for my neighbours, doing popups at local breweries and festivals to opening up a pizza shop in the east end of Toronto in 2020 called Mark's Pizzas. Over the last year I have started making and selling fresh pasta. My "education" on that has gone from Evan Funke, to Meryl of Pasta Social Club to you Giulia! I want to make the best pasta form my family and customers! I've been following along here but recently signed up as a subscriber. My nemesis is fresh lasagna, lol. Still trying to work that one out. Hope to learn lots here and enjoy your journey! You never know, maybe you will see me and my family for an in person class at your place!
Hello Mark, welcome! I am humbled by your words, Mark, as I consider Evan Funke and Meryl such accomplished pasta makers! I'm glad I have been helpful, too! I have. recipe for my family southern lasagna here in the archives, give it a go!
And hopefully we will meet for an in person class soon!
I just had a look and that lasagne recipe was at the top of my list from going through your recipes. Who doesn't like meatballs!?!? especially in lasagna!!!
thanks Giulia, I think you hold your own! It is a tricky process but I will see where it goes! I will check out that recipe, thanks and have a great day! Mark
