Love this post! How far away is Abruzzo from where you live? Could a person visit both?

Yes absolutely! They are about 3 to 4 hours apart, and you cross Le Marche and Umbria that are two beautiful regions!

Lovely post, Giulia! I came across a similiar recipe for meatless meatballs (polpettine sensa carne) in Puglia. So useful for non-meat-eating granddaughters (it happens!).
