I can't believe it's a year old already!! I'm proud of you for taking a moment to celebrate it at this mark; I rarely took time to do that with each of my books and it's important to pause, remember the accolades and catch your breath as you move forward. Brava, friends!! x

We almost missed the celebrations for publication day for a bad seasonal flu and too many classes, but I didn't want to miss this milestone. I'm open to schedule all the celebrations for your cookbooks, you deserve to party and recognize your success!

Good luck with your next cookbook, Giulia. I enjoy reading your letters and getting news of your

trials, tribulations and successes. It's all very human. Thanks for sharing.

Love CUCINA POVERA! I've cooked many of the recipes and enjoyed everyone I've tried. I have it on my nightstand so I can read it just before I fall asleep - and dream of the good things I'm going to cook from it tomorrow! Thanks.

What a wonderful emotive piece about your journey, a lovely insight into what goes into putting together a cook book. I have only just started following you but I always look forward to seeing your posts appear in my inbox and this one I especially enjoyed. All the best with the new cook book. How long is the process from start to finish?
