Michela HATES peppers (maybe I’ve already told you our story from when she was little—when she would go spend a weekend at her dads she always came home asking what we’d eaten while she was away. She would nearly cry if it was something she loved—so we started telling her we’d had peppers 😂🫣)
BUT she would love this filling so much. Have you ever used it for anything else? Maybe I can just make her crostini with it…or stuff a tomato?
You told me this story! It is so fun! As Tommaso doesn’t like peppers, too, I used little grape tomatoes—halved and emptied—and stuffed them with tuna. It would work with grilled eggplant slices, too!
It asks you to sign in with an email - so for some people that’s a bit of a turn off! Love Tuscan food though would never want a recipe that requires the peeling of peppers, cucumber or tomato for that matter. Life’s too short to stuff a mushroom as a flatmate used to say. Also, I need the vitamins! But your writing is lovely - info about places and products would also be good! (Sorry the questionnaire didn’t work for me) I’m 71 and UK/Spain based. (So probably not your target market!)
Oh how weird. If you are already subscribed it shouldn’t ask you to subscribe again. Anyway, thank you for your feedback! I love peeling peppers (I was just saying it today during a class, I find it mindful). As for the target market, I am actually writing for English speaking readers, so you are my target! ;)
Questi involtini sono veramente divini ✨
“September is the true beginning of the year” … yes, yes, a thousand times YES!
I think this belief dates back to school time. After 3 months of summer holidays you do feel September as the new year!
I see it as the gentle gateway into Autumn, my favourite time of the year!
Same here!

Roasted peppers are always in my fridge in the summer!

Tommaso doesn't love peppers, so I'm often making this JUST FOR MYSELF, and I love it! :P
Stuffed pepper rolls look absolutely delicious!!! Love the presentation !!!
The link for the survey doesn't take me there, is it because it's only for paid subscribers? 🤓
