Throughly enjoyed this letter. So many dishes to try in the new year. I’m planning on sitting in tomorrow (don’t have the link yet) but can’t cook along unfortunately. Today was candy making day so there was no time for me to make the dough. Thank goodness for the pot of minestrone soup simmering on the stove and loaf of pan de casa joining it 😄

Look forward to saying hi and Merry Christmas

Giulia & Tommaso

Grazie millie! This was the most beautiful Christmas card (email) to receive this morning! I shared with my father. Love the stories and growing family history as to why you make each recipe! We were in Florence last week/end - tanta pioggia !!! We arrived on a Wednesday and returned home this Tuesday so we missed the opportunity to come and cook with you. I hope on our next trip. Abbiamo in programma di preparare la too ricetta per i ricciarelli la vigilia di Natale. : ) Buon Natale alla tua famiglia.

Your Christmas is the Christmas of dreams. At least, my dreams. Thanks for sharing with us. My family is now very small. We uphold certain traditions taught by my mother and aunts at holiday time.

Struffala, baccala salad, lasagne, antipasti to name a few. Happy New Year.
