Your blog is an amazing treasure-trove of recipes and local food story-telling. I have already shared with several of my foodie friends in Seattle! I will be traveling in your region in late November or early December, and interested in joining one of your cooking class this fall—do you still have openings for the Wednesday market to table classes?

thank you so much, Alice, what a nice gesture! And yes, we have market cooking classes available during those weeks, actually, two dates: November 26th and December 3rd! Drop me an email and I’ll give you all the info!

I made the olive oil apple cake from your cookbook Cucina Povera. It is wonderful!

Such a comforting cake, isn’t it?

I wish I had your mother's garden. Sadly I'm not much of a gardener but I am able to grow fresh herbs. I have been making pear, apple, cranberry crisp and spiced pecans. I also made some American Beauty Berry Jelly as we have so many beauty berries on our property and this is the time of year to pick them. I've been into pears more this season and will try your pecorino and pear crostoni. I also love the apple olive oil cake. I miss Italy. It was this time last year we were on our trip....
